4th of July Americana Festival Parade Centerville

One of the more historic and beautiful towns in the Miami Valley is Centerville. The usual sunny intersection of the downtown area will be closed on Wednesday the 4th of July for the annual Americana Festival and Parade. Filling the usually traffic-clogged streets will instead be vendors and booths selling various local wares and treats. Enjoy a hot funnel cake (one of my favorites!) and get ready for the parade!
Last year, it started at Centerville Highschool on E. Franklin St. at 10am, and wound its way down north main street to eventually end at Virginia Avenue.
Families will be many, it will be hot, so bring water, and the fun will be even more abundant as many of our kind neighbors gather to remember the unity and history we all share as citizens of this great nation. Happy Independence Day!
