 This deal has taught me that communication is a key skill in the  real estate business. Also returning phone calls in at timely manner is also key.  The one thing that I am finding is that the ones who have been in this business the longest are the worst at it. In return I have learned how to search down my own answers when one does not get back to me in a timely manner. Which is only making me a better agent so its a love- hate type thing.  My very first few months other agents would compliment me on my timely return on phone calls or the fact that I always answer my phone. I now know this is a rare quality  among  real estate agents concerning other agents. The deal goes so much smoother when everyone communicates on what is going from home inspections, to Appraisals and even financing.  We all want the same thing to meet at a closing table to sign the deal.
