Dayton Weather Flooded Basements and Property Management

Autumn 2011 will go down as the wettest autumn on record for Dayton and Cincinnati Ohio. According to NOAA Weather, during this meteorological autumn- Sept 1 to Dec 1- Cincinnati picked up 19.86 inches of rain, breaking  a 92 year old record of 16.95 inches set in 1919, and Dayton had 19.65 inches of rainfall, which broke the record of 15.35 inches set in 1975.

From Tipp City to Centerville, from Englewood to Beavercreek, and all points in between, basements that have never flooded before got wet this year. Water intrusion creates problems and left unchecked could create huge problems. If you are an out of town investor or property owner, how do you know exactly what is happening in your basement? This is where a conscientious and professional Property Manager can help. By hiring a property manager, you have a pair of eyes in town, looking out for your interest in your real estate investment.

Wondering if your yard is a duck pond? Did the ice storm or hail storm do any damage? Are the sidewalks and walkways being shoveled and the lawn cared for? Property managers do more than just collect rents. We are trained to maintain and manage the property, particularly important for out of town owners. Tons of photos kept online along with accessible documentation is just one way I keep owners informed about the condition of their home after weather-related incidents. How's your home holding up after nearly 20 inches of rain in 3 months?

Communication, professionalism, accessibility- looking for a property manager in Dayton who will look out for your investment? Give me a call and let's talk. Teri Lussier, Property Management Specialist, 937.343.1411
